Maureen has an encyclopedic knowledge of leadership and management theory and practice that she is able to share with people from all backgrounds to help them achieve success in their professional endeavors. Not only does she have this knowledge, her ability to make it informative, interesting and entertaining for groups of varying experiences and skills are second to none in my experience as an educator and trainer. I have an engineering degree and an MBA, and through all of that formal education we never learned the keys to everyday communication. I have read several books on the subject, but the Making a Connection course brought together the fundamentals of all of those, plus additional fundamentals that were hugely beneficial. I use them in my personal life to improve conversations with family and friends, but I am most looking forward to the improvements in email and verbal communication in the office. Mary Kyle Manson, Product Manager, NPI, AKG of America, Inc.

I enthusiastically recommend Maureen's expertise and work in training design, course delivery, and group facilitation. Maureen is the consummate human resources professional who truly engages and excites recipients of her training courses. She possesses a high level of emotional intelligence and insight that is amazingly beneficial to companies attempting to identify both the key development hurdles and opportunities necessary to achieve success. As a facilitator of peer group sessions, she challenges participants to exceed their goals and share feedback in a highly effective manner. It has always been a pleasure to work with her. I have never met anyone that possesses the skills that she possesses in terms of communicating with impact and influence. Not only does Maureen have tremendous influence with those she communicates, she does so in a positive and empowering way. Each time I have observed Maureen in a classroom, with a colleague, with a client or with Senior Management in an organization she has impressed me with her ability to inspire action and confidence in others. Maureen was an integral part of our team’s success when the company reorganized two divisions into one. She was able to facilitate meaningful team building and communications training that allowed the team to appreciate each person’s differences and in return the team evolved over time. Maureen’s knowledge and experience helped us recognize and validate the team’s past and current state. She also made the exercises in the training fun for the group which helped the team relax and enjoy their time together. Kathy Moyer, Vice President of Operations
